2 days ago on April 9th general robert E lee surrendered to general Ulysses s grant in the home of Willmore McLean in the town of Appomattox. This happened after the final battle at saylors creek with 10780 union casualties and 6000 southern casualties plus many more captured. The term as of the surrender said all cSA weaponry and flags must be confiscated, the south gets 25000 rations, personal weapons and horses  may be kept, and no more fighting. This is the end of the civil war now we must work to unite our country once again.
